The Earth has harbored intelligent life and civilization for upwards of one billion years. This may be difficult to accept but the scientific advances over the past 50 to 60 years support this claim. Let us consider the issues.
We begin with plate tectonics. All the continents of the earth rest on massive stone blocks called plates that float on liquid rock (magma) and because of this move. They move slowly, between .5 to 2.5 inches per year, and the direction of their movement is known. Geo-scientists can map the location back many millions of years. This is why we can use plate movement to date ancient archaeological sites.
Next, we proceed to the reconstruction of super continents. Since the continents move, they move both to and away from each other. When they move toward each other they merge to form a super continent. Scientist reconstructed five previous super continents one of which was Rodinia. This continent included all the major continents and assembled between 1100 and 900 million years ago. It lasted 150 million years and broke up 750 million years ago. There exist certain artifacts that depict an image of Rodinia. This allows the possibility that intelligent life existed at that time.
A third scientific discovery is the meteor impact off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico that killed the dinosaurs 66 million years ago. This impact resulted in two massive explosions, one from the original impact and the other from the compression of the limestone rock that released carbon dioxide in a massive gas explosion. The impact also resulted in tidal wave 1100 feet tall that flooded all of Mexico and parts of the United States. The impact crater called the Chicxulub Crater has been dated to 66 million years of age. This impact explains why Mexico’s lost ruins are buried and their antiquity.
The fourth scientific discovery is the current theory of the formation of the moon. This theory was developed by computer simulations and indicated that Earth was impacted by a Mars size object some four billion years ago. The debris from this impact formed the moon and a major debris field in space between the moon and the earth. Over time the debris would fall onto both the earth. This supports our claim of a debris field in orbit.
The fifth discovery is called “SNOWBALL EARTH”. From 715 million years ago until 595 million years ago the whole earth including the oceans was covered in glaciers 5,000 meters thick. This discovery means that any life that froze in the glaciers would not fossilize until the glaciers melted and the dead organism was deposited on the ground and sedimentation covered it up. This adds an error of 175 million years to the date of the Cambium Explosion, the time of the expansion onto land of complex multi-cellular life, animals and plants. This error makes possible the possibility of animal life existing far older than the current accepted date of 542 million years.
So, current scientific advances do not exclude our claims of very ancient intelligent life but in fact allows it.
